These are natural Azurite/Malachite rock material that has been reconstituted. This means that the natural materials were originally too soft to cut gemstones out of, so they crushed the natural materials, binded them with a harder substrate, and then compressed it under 100,000+ sq/ft LBS of pressure to create a rock again. These are now hard, stable pieces of material that can be trimmed, cabbed, carved, or inlayed with. It is a very fun material to create jewelry with and has a fantastic look!

PLEASE WEAR A MASK AT ALL TIMES WHEN CUTTING THIS MATERIAL! IT CAN BE HARMFUL IF BREATHED IN CONSISTENTLY. It is copper bearing and it also has been reconstituted with chemicals that should not be breathed in.
