This old number 8 is naturally hard. Some of this material may have a surface absorbent on it. This material is not stabilized. These pieces are lighter in color and some show the beautiful matrix of spider web type that the #8 Turquoise Mine is known for. This parcel has already been trimmed and tested for fractures. Each stone should be able to cut a cabochon between ring size to pendant size. The material is hard and not prone to breaking even without a treatment or backing.
